Heather Tabers is a Christian author and immersive storyteller who writes Historical Romance, Children’s Fiction, and encouragement for weary souls. Through narrated scenes, playlists, historical imagery, video footage, and interactive extras, she creates stories readers don’t just read—they experience.

Though she can’t always recall the dates of famous battles or list the world’s great leaders, Heather treasures history for something far more meaningful: the way stories from the past still stir our hearts today. To her, the true beauty of history isn’t found in facts and figures, but in the courage, faith, sacrifice, and hope woven through ordinary lives.

A hope-filled romantic, Heather believes in second chances, redemptive love, and the goodness of God’s grace in the midst of messy, ordinary life. Her own love story—and the generations of faithful people who came before her—inspire many of the stories she tells.

Heather is a member of American Christian Fiction Writers and Word Weavers International. She won an ACFW VA Crown Award in 2022 and was a Selah Award finalist in Historical Romance.

When she’s not writing, Heather enjoys creating polymer clay jewelry, reading a good book, binge-watching romantic period dramas, and laughing around the dinner table with her family. She lives in sunny Central Florida with her husband, Robert—whose Army and USMC background inspires many of the heroes in her novels—and their two fur-babies, Murphy and Maisy. Heather is also a veteran homeschooling mama of five mostly grown children. She holds a BS in Communications from Arizona State University and a MA in English Composition from Liberty University.
