Speaking

Stories have a way of meeting us where we are—and gently inviting us somewhere deeper.
When I step onto a stage, whether I’m speaking to a room full of women or a group of bright, curious children, my heart is the same: to draw people into truth through story, faith, and shared experience.
Women’s Events
For women’s events, I speak on topics that touch the everyday and the eternal—the armor of God and how we actually wear it in the middle of real life, what it looks like to stand firm when culture pulls us in the opposite direction, the quiet complexities of friendship, and the journey of understanding who we are in Christ. Together, we explore the “bags” we carry, the burdens we were never meant to hold alone, and the beautiful, hard-fought truth that we can live as overcomers.

Children’s Events
With children, I step into a different kind of storytelling—one filled with wonder, imagination, and possibility. I love helping young minds see that stories aren’t just something we read… they’re something we can create. Through engaging, interactive conversations, I encourage them to discover their voices, dream boldly, and consider that one day, they might hold their own story in their hands.
During a school visit, students will be drawn into an engaging, interactive experience that blends storytelling, creativity, and truth. Heather speaks to students about the power of stories, the writing process, and the real-life themes woven into her books—while reading a portion of the story to bring it vividly to life.
Each presentation is designed to spark imagination, encourage character, and leave students seeing both stories—and their own lives—a little differently.
